Knee Scooter Rental in Denver, Colorado

Knee Scooter Rental In Denver.jpg

A knee scooter rental may be a smart investment if you’ve recently sustained a below-the-knee injury or are recovering from surgery and need to keep your leg in a non-weight-bearing position. The knee walker keeps your injured leg elevated and prevents excess stress to the injured area, thereby minimizing your chances of re-injury during the recovery period. Best of all, you can move freely and quickly without the limitations imposed by crutches. Whether you need your knee scooter for one week or six months, Mobility Plus is here to provide.

  • Where in Colorado do you rent Knee Scooters?

We will deliver anywhere in the state of Colorado! You can also pickup rentals at our Showroom locations.

How do I know if the Knee Scooter is the right fit for me?

You can always call and talk to a professional to size up the right mobility equipment for you. Generally, you'll want to follow the “Ideal Person” Guidelines within the rental descriptions but a staff member would be happy to discuss what you're looking to do with the Knee Scooter to make sure you have the right mobility device for not only your size but also your usage.

What is the weight limit for Knee Scooters?

Our Knee Scooters vary from 300lbs up to 350lbs so your weight should be under the limit for that particular mobility device. Additionally, you should pay attention to height requirements so you aren't “scunched” on a Knee Scooter just becuase you're under the weight limit.

What is the minimum rental time?

Our minimum rental is 1 week. You may have the Knee Scooter for 1 minute, 1 day or 1 week but the price remains the same. Each additional week past your first is a flat rate as well.

    Is there a deposit?

No there is no deposit required!

What's the difference between an Eco and an All Terrain Knee Scooter?

An Eco Knee Scooter is best suited for inside the house or within buildings. If you're considering going out and about more than staying in our All Terrain option is best with air filled tires and a “mountain bike tread” on the tires. The All Terrain also offers more cushion and comfort than the Eco Option.

    Do you deliver Knee Scooters?

Yes we do! We will deliver anywhere in the state of Colorado. Our delivery charges are based on mileage. If you are outside the Denver Metro Area we will gladly get you an exact quote. You can also choose one way delivery where we drop off and you return it or you pick it up and we come get it when you're done.

Can I do one way delivery?

You most certainly can! We are happy to drop it off and you return it OR you can pick it up and we come get it when you're done.

Can I leave the Knee Scooter at my hotel?

You sure can. We work with hotels constantly that we can have a machine waiting for you at the front desk or you can leave it with the front desk for us to retrieve. This is super common for us to do.

What if I lose or damage the Knee Scooter?

Unfortunately you would be responsible for loss of or damage of the Knee Scooter.

Can I rent something for a family member or friend?

You absolutely can but just be aware that we are renting the Knee Scooter to you so if there are any damages or loss then you will be held responsible not the person you rented it for.

I need to rent something for a work trip - can I rent it but the company pay?

Yes. We are happy to rent it to you and bill the company card OR supply your receipts for reimbursements.

Does Insurance cover Knee Scooter rentals?

Your insurance MAY cover your rental but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people rent the machine privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before booking.

If I cancel my reservation what happens?

If you cancel your reservation there are sometimes fees and penalties which are outlined in your rental agreement. Typically we do not allow cancelations after pickup times have passed.

If I want to extend my rental what happens?

We are happy to extend it! You just let us know by phone, email or text and we will charge the card on file to the date you want to extend to. Easy.

Can I pay cash for a rental reservation?

We do not allow reservations to be made by cash. We must have a card on file for both extensions and damages that may occur.

What do I need to make a reservation?

We require a credit card to make the reservation and an ID to release the Knee Scooter to you. You must be 18 or older to rent and sign our rental agreement. You must sign our rental agreement to receive the rental (you can make a reservation without signing but you can not receive the machine without that completion).

Can I travel with a Knee Scooter?

Absolutely. These Knee Scooters fold for easy loading and unloading.

Can I fly with a Knee Scooter rental?

Yes, you may. We just want to make you aware that airlines aren't super friendly to these mobility devices so any damages you will be held responsible for. We have had this occur and the airlines are typically very good about repairing or reimbursing you but to be most clear our rental is your responsibility ultimately.

Do you have All Terrain Knee Scooters?

Yes, we do! They are functional in grass, gravel, mulch and other rough terrain. Just use caution with hills to make sure you don't lose control.

Do you have long term rental rates?

Yes we do! Let us know your dates and desired machine and we can get a quote within seconds.

Should I rent or buy a Knee Scooter?

This question typically comes down to timeline and usage. If you think you're going to have to use a Knee Scooter for more than 20 weeks then you should consider purchasing.

Can I book a Knee Scooter rental online?

Yes absolutely. Our inventory is online and available to 24/7 with “real time updates” of our inventory so you can book anything you want whenever you want. A representative will contact you during normal business hours to confirm your reservation once it is set.

Can I just show up to get a Knee Scooter rental?

You certainly can. We recommend checking our availability online or calling the store first just to be sure before you come out.

Can I book a Knee Scooter reservation over the phone?

You may book over the phone. We offer online booking options but if you'd like to talk to a live person a team member would be happy to discuss and book for you during normal business hours.

Do you offer same day delivery for Knee Scooter rentals?

We do offer same day delivery in most cases. In the unique case that we can not we will work to find a solution for you.

Do you offer any credit from my Knee Scooter rental if I wish to purchase?

We do not credit anything from your rental towards a purhase of manual mobility products.
