How do I know if the Portable Wheelchair Ramp is the right fit for me?

You can always call and talk to a professional to size up the right mobility equipment for you. What is the weight limit for Portable Wheelchair Ramps?

Our Portable Wheelchair Ramps can handle up to 800lbs so your weight and the combined weight of your machine should be under the limit for that particular mobility device.

What is the minimum rental time?

Our minimum rental is 1 week. You may have the Portable Wheelchair Ramp for 1 minute, 1 day or 1 week but the price remains the same. Each additional week past your first is a flat rate as well.

    Is there a deposit?

No there is no deposit required!

Do you deliver Portable Wheelchair Ramps?

Yes we do! We will deliver anywhere in the state of Colorado. Our delivery charges are based on mileage. If you are outside the Denver Metro Area we will gladly get you an exact quote. You most certainly can! We are happy to drop it off and you return it OR you can pick it up and we come get it when you're done.

Can I leave the Portable Wheelchair Ramp at my hotel?

You sure can. We work with hotels constantly that we can have one waiting for you at the front desk or you can leave it with the front desk for us to retrieve. This is super common for us to do.

What if I lose or damage the Portable Wheelchair Ramp?

Unfortunately you would be responsible for loss of or damage of the Portable Wheelchair Ramp.

Can I rent something for a family member or friend?

You absolutely can but just be aware that we are renting the Portable Wheelchair Ramp to you so if there are any damages or loss then you will be held responsible not the person you rented it for.

I need to rent something for a work trip - can I rent it but the company pay?

Yes. We are happy to rent it to you and bill the company card OR supply your receipts for reimbursements.

Does Insurance cover Portable Wheelchair Ramp rentals?

Your insurance MAY cover your rental but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people rent the Portable Wheelchair Ramp privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before booking.

If I cancel my reservation what happens?

If you cancel your reservation there are sometimes fees and penalties which are outlined in your rental agreement. Typically we do not allow cancelations after pickup times have passed.

If I want to extend my rental what happens?

We are happy to extend it! You just let us know by phone, email or text and we will charge the card on file to the date you want to extend to. Easy.

What do I need to make a reservation?

We require a credit card to make the reservation and an ID to release the Portable Wheelchair Ramp to you. You must be 18 or older to rent and sign our rental agreement. Absolutely. These Portable Wheelchair Rampd fold for easy loading and unloading.

Can I fly with a Portable Wheelchair Ramp rental?

Yes, you may. We just want to make you aware that airlines aren't super friendly to these mobility devices so any damages you will be held responsible for. We have had this occur and the airlines are typically very good about repairing or reimbursing you but to be most clear our rental is your responsibility ultimately.

Do you have long term rental rates?

Yes we do! Let us know your dates and desired machine and we can get a quote within seconds.

Should I rent or buy a Portable Wheelchair Ramp?

Can I book a Portable Wheelchair Ramp rental online?

You certainly can. We recommend checking our availability online or calling the store first just to be sure before you come out.

Can I book a Portable Wheelchair Ramp reservation over the phone?

You may book over the phone. We offer online booking options but if you'd like to talk to a live person a team member would be happy to discuss and book for you during normal business hours.

We do offer same day delivery in most cases. In the unique case that we can not we will work to find a solution for you.

Do you offer any credit from my Portable Wheelchair Ramp rental if I wish to purchase?

We do not credit anything from your rental towards a purhase of manual mobility products.

How many stairs can a Portable Wheelchair Ramp do?

This is tough to answer as a blanket statement because stairs will vary in height and depth which will change the angle of the incline. To be ADA compliant (for a business or public usage) you need one foot of ramp for every inch of rise. That means if you have 1 step our 8 foot ramp is sufficient because a step is typically 6-7 inches tall. MOST people for private usage use more of a 2 inches of rise for every one foot of ramp equation. That means an 8 foot ramp can do 2-3 stairs and our 10 foot ramp can do 3-4 stairs depending on their height and depth. We do not want you to create an incline that is too steep or an angle too severe. A team member will gladly talk through this with you if you have questions.

Can I use a Portable Wheelchair Ramp for my Van or SUV?

You can Portable Wheelchair Ramp for your Van or SUV but you need to measure how far off the ground in inches the back bumper or side entry is on the Van or SUV. That will help us determine the rise and see if our rentals will work for your vehicle. Typically, minivans are not a problem but some Trucks and SUV's are much higher off the ground than others.

Can I leave the Portable Wheelchair Ramp outside?

Yes you can. They are made out of aluminum so that part is good to go. They do have a “sandpaper like surface” to assist with traction so if you are able to cover it or bring it inside during inclement weather that will ensure that won't be damaged.

Do you install the Portable Wheelchair Ramp?

Yes we will if you get delivery. You are welcome to pick these up at our Showroom and we will load it or unload it for you. If you get delivery a technician will bring it to your home and set it up or hand it over - your preference.

I have more than 3-4 stairs, can I rent a Portable Wheelchair Ramp?

We do not recommend our Portable Wheelchair Ramp Rentals in cases where the incline is too steep or above a certain grade. At that point we are happy to discuss purchase options and/or custom ramp projects if you need something permenant or beyond our rental capacities. We can install anything from 1 to 1,000 feet for whatever you need!

How heavy are the Portable Wheelchair Ramps?

The Portable Wheelchair Ramps are 50lbs for the 8ft and 60lbs for the 10ft. The two sections CAN be separated so you are handling 25lbs or 30lbs at one time.
