Colorado Freedom Fest 2024 - Festival Overview
Attendees of previous Freedom Fest events will no doubt already be looking forward to Freedom Festival in Denver, Colorado in 2024. Created to celebrate America's heroes and their families, Freedom Fest combines concerts, family fun, and great food and drink.
2024 sees the arrival of this year’s event in Denver. Though dates and details of the line-ups are yet to be announced, festival-goers can expect a great mix of fun, games, and live music.
What Is the Freedom Festival?
Freedom Fest in Colorado is a family event open to the public and military that celebrates our heroes. For the families of fallen military personnel, Freedom Fest is also an important event to keep their loved ones' memories alive within the community. Freedom Fest is a great day trip for disabled adults in Colorado as the event is wheelchair-accessible.
Activities
Held in Iron Horse Park in Fort Carson, previous events have offered a wide selection of entertainment options for adults and children. Younger attendees can expect bounce houses, a mechanical bull, carnival games, face paint, and many more options to keep them occupied throughout the afternoon and evening.
Concert
The star event at Freedom Fest is always the concert. Featuring a headline act and several other acts, you're sure to find something you love! The concert continues until around 10 pm when the fireworks begin. So, bring a jacket and a lawn chair, and enjoy everything the concert has to offer.
Food & Drink
Freedom Fest offers a wide range of food and drink options to suit everyone's tastes. Please note that guests aren't permitted to bring their own food, drinks, or alcoholic beverages to the event. Glass containers are also not allowed onto the site.
Tailgating Experience
Last year saw the launch of the Tailgating Experience at Freedom Fest. With only 10 spots, the Tailgating Experience allows exclusive views of the fireworks away from the crowds just outside the festival grounds.
This option gives families a different option to enjoy the fireworks. It also allows you to bring your own food and drink, chairs, umbrellas, and even grills!
Accessibility
Freedom Festival is wheelchair accessible for those who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices like mobility scooters. However, the parking lot may be a walk away. The nature of this event as an afternoon and evening festival means some elderly people or people with mobility issues may struggle to stay on their feet for the entire time.
If you don’t have your own mobility device and think you may need one, we offer mobility device rentals like wheelchairs or scooters and can deliver the device to your home, hotel, or directly to the event (delivery fees may apply for certain locations).

According to information from previous years, festival-goers must comply with some regulations when attending Freedom Fest:

Lawn chairs less than 37″ high. The chair mustn't extend higher than the user's shoulders.

Guests aren't permitted to bring the following to the event:
Food or beverages
Marijuana or other drugs
Large umbrellas that can impede others' views, personal canopies, tents, and chairs over 37″ high
Pets except service animals
Bicycles, skateboards, etc.
Weapons including firearms

Personal fireworks
